Jurisdiction note: These Terms of Service are intended to comply with applicable consumer protection and contract laws in multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, the Philippines, Canada, and Australia. Where local law provides additional consumer rights, those rights are preserved and not limited by these Terms.

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the Task-Vora website (task-vora.com) or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client", "you", or "your") and Task-Vora ("Task-Vora", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of services

Task-Vora provides virtual assistant matching and management services, including but not limited to:

Matching clients with pre-vetted virtual assistants
AI automation setup and implementation
Administrative support services
Lead generation and sales support
Bookkeeping and financial assistance
Social media management
Web development and design

The specific scope of services, hours, and deliverables will be agreed upon between Task-Vora and the Client prior to the commencement of any engagement.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts and registration

When you submit an enquiry or engage our services, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at info@task-vora.com.

5. Pricing and payment

All pricing is customised based on the scope of services, VA expertise level, and hours required. Specific pricing will be confirmed in writing before any engagement begins.

Invoices are issued in accordance with the agreed payment schedule
Payment is due within the timeframe specified on each invoice unless otherwise agreed
Late payments may incur interest at the rate permitted by applicable law
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts

6. Cancellation and refunds

We operate on flexible, no long-term contract terms. Either party may terminate a service engagement by providing reasonable written notice as agreed in the service agreement.

Fees paid for work already completed are non-refundable
Pre-paid fees for services not yet rendered will be refunded on a pro-rata basis
Cancellation terms specific to your engagement will be outlined in your service agreement

UK and EU consumers: If you are a consumer (not a business) in the UK or EU, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a service agreement under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) or the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This right may be affected if services have already commenced at your request.

7. Intellectual property

Upon full payment of all fees, all work product, deliverables, and output created by Task-Vora or its virtual assistants specifically for the Client shall be owned by the Client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Task-Vora retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property, methodologies, tools, and any general frameworks used in providing services. The Task-Vora name, logo, and website content are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be used without our written permission.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared in connection with the services. This obligation continues for a period of 2 years following the termination of any engagement, or indefinitely for trade secrets.

Our virtual assistants are bound by confidentiality obligations. Upon request, we can arrange a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to engagement.

9. Data protection

Both parties agree to comply with applicable data protection laws in connection with the services. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect personal data. Where Task-Vora processes personal data on behalf of the Client, we will do so as a data processor under a Data Processing Agreement as required by applicable law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Task-Vora's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Task-Vora in the 3 months preceding the claim
Task-Vora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
We do not guarantee specific business outcomes as a result of using our services

Consumer rights note: Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. Consumers in the UK, EU, Australia, and other jurisdictions may have rights that cannot be contractually waived.

11. Warranties and disclaimers

Task-Vora warrants that it will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any other kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services or website to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
Transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
Engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or abuse
Request that our VAs perform tasks that are unethical, illegal, or in violation of these Terms

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If negotiation fails, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration before litigation is pursued.

UK clients: These Terms are subject to English law and the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a UK consumer.

US clients: Any disputes not resolved through negotiation shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

EU clients: You may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
